I was training for a big race my coach asked me what animal I am and without a second of thought, I said Cheetah.
We took a morning drive and stopped for some tea in the middle of this open plain. I was walking around and looked down seeing tracks of an animal which were fresh. Asking what it was I found much joy in the guide's response, "Cheetah". He had passed through here. As we got into the vehicle and made our way forward, 100 meters off to the right we found him laying under a tree.
He was elegant and refined. His presence just laying there was powerful. We sat there for a good hour and just watched the beautiful creature relax beneath the tree. Hours later at high noon we passed through there again to find him still unbothered by the world around, enjoying his lazy day. We watched for another hour.
When we look at defining moments in our life, for me this was one. Being there in His presence was life changing.
